Naturally, I missed out on the initial launch since I don’t have my own Wii U.I was eager to see what the title had to offer. Elliot Quest tells the story of, well, Elliot. After Elliot’s wife disappears, he falls sick and attempts to take his own life–only to discovers that he can’t die. It is similar to such games as Metroid, Castlevania II: Simon's Quest, and Zelda II: The Adventure of Link

Nintendojo gave it an A+, its highest possible score, and concluded that "Elliot Quest offers one of the most entertaining and rewarding experiences an adventure game can offer. Sure, the 3DS port of Elliot Quest is by no means the “definitive” version, and I personally would wait until a future patch is released to correct the glitch you see at the final dungeon. The tale develops over quick cutscenes, showing Elliot's interaction with his newfound power and trying to find answers from Rasa, the local wise man.
Elliot Quest is a side-scrolling action-adventure platform game by Mexican indie developer Ansimuz Games, initially released for Microsoft Windows in 2014, followed shortly by a Wii U port in 2015, and later to various other platforms throughout 2017.
Plagued by nightmares, and growing weaker by the day, Elliot seeks out a local Sage, who tells him that he's the victim of a rare curse.
Developed by Ansimuz Games and published by PlayEveryWare, Elliot Quest is an adventure/RPG Nintendo fans should be pretty familiar with, as it was already released on Wii U and Nintendo 3DS. The game is heavily inspired by Zelda II: The Adventure of Link, and features 5 dungeons to conquer, but also 16 bosses to defeat, and of course treasures… countless treasures to discover! Although all eyes have been on Nintendo Switch as of late, there is still a healthy stream of titles arriving to the Nintendo 3DS.
