The Blue Palace is locked (though I can break in).
Has anyone here followed Ulfric all the way to his destination I would really like to know where he is. The jarl Elisif and her entourage remains in power in Solitude after the last civil war battle. Battle for Solitude bug - posted in Skyrim Technical Support: Hey! I usually follow an npc after a quest out of curiosity. After the battle has cleared, i assume the stage is set for the first time you enter the blue palace and that farmer mentions Wolfskull Cave which triggers the quest to become thane. Since the gate is locked during the battle, it asks me to go through the entire Potema's dungeon so I can get out and go speak to him. The rest of the town is back to normal - no fires, people walking around, etc. Captain Aldis led them, after hours of battle the Imperial Soldiers were killed and Galmar Stonefist smashed Aldis's head. After the speech, we all enter Solitude, but Ulfric is nowhere to be seen. Contents[show] Battle Ulfric's Speech Siege of Castle Dour After killing loads of soldiers, the rebel army reached Castle Dour where the rest of the Imperial Soldiers were waiting. Solitude still has the combat music playing whenever I'm there, the icon for Solitude doesn't show up on my map for fast travel, and when I run up there I get a message when I go in the gate that I have to "complete defence of the city".
[SPOILER] Cannot report to Ulfric Stormcloak after taking over Whiterun I've sucessfully taken over whiterun and accepted Balgruuf's surrender and the next quest is "the liberation of skyrim" which tells me to report to Ulfric but when i talk to him there is no "report" option and i cannot progress in the questline. The Battle of Solitude was the final major battle of the Skyrim Civil War. Only then does the journal update with the quest "Battle for Solitude" and tells me to get my orders from Ulfric, but the quest marker for Ulfric is outside of Solitude. It completes the entire questline and the ongoing Liberation Of but after the end of the battle following Ulfric got pretty tiresome so I stopped. She submit to Ulfric at his speech. Battle For Solitude is the last quest of the Stormcloaks' side of the Civil War Quests.
