Ignoring the fact that I was in the bag, going quick, and generally had never had it and was doing it blind, this is a different batch than the last time I reviewed Maker’s Mark Cask Strength.
This is as close as it comes to tasting this whiskey straight out of the barrel. The difference is that extra 23 proof.
