I see no reason why a dolphin bar wouldn't pick it up *unless* it uses it's own proprietary adapter to connect to the Wii in the first place.

The Wii has two USB ports, both in the back of the console.

You can't play rock band on the wii, using the Wii remote as a guitar. The Beatles RB guitar uses the Wii controller and not a tongle.. Well I got my guitar hero 3 controller tried it on rock band 1 didn't work but when they released rock band 2 they enabled it and now i'm using my guitar hero wii controller with rock band 2 and rock band beatles and ive never experienced a single delay or bug
