There are four sections to the run: lovely Grant Park, athe historic Oakland Cemetery, the State Capitol building, and loop around the track in a park that’s home to the Atlanta Track club. With awards by age group, a tot trot and a stroller race, the Adams Realtors 5K raises funds to support the Grant Park Conservancy. Show your support for Kate's Club and Senior Citizens Services as we walk, run and race to raise awareness and funding for two deserving groups in our community. Here’s a run with a mix of green, sights, and history that makes for a great 10k. Grant Park is among the city’s largest and oldest urban parks. A portion of the proceeds will benefit Wounded … I think most visitors will end up in Grant Park at some point during their trips.

Runners, walkers and strollers are welcome to participate.

Grant Park is also home to the start and finish of the Chicago Marathon. Run for the Park 5K. The Grant Park Summer Shade Festival kicks off on Saturday morning with the Adams Realtors Run for the Park 5K.
