This daiquiri recipe is made without mixers just using fresh fruit, rum, ice, and salted caramel syrup. Place the mango, banana, lime juice, sugar syrup (see note) and rum in a blender and process until smooth. This recipe is very straight-forward: Blend a whole banana and ice with the usual daiquiri ingredients of rum, triple sec, and lime juice. Add 2 cups of ice and process again until smooth and thick. It really hits the spot on a hot day, particularly in late summer. Frozen banana mango daiquiris are yummy with salted caramel . In some respects, it has the consistency of a smoothie too as it’s best served nice and thick. A little sugar is tossed in to sweeten it up ever so slightly and there are many fun twists you can add that take the popular banana cocktail to a new level. Serve ice-cold in highball glasses with mango slices.
